Richard Butler Creagh on The future of Sterling in the suspended government

Welcome to the Richard Butler Creag blog. With the emerging Brexit deadline, the last deadline the EU leaders will give the UK. The new Prime minister Boris Johnson. The British government is taking the Brexit as a serious option even the one without agreement. Leaders of British opposition parties adopted a declaration regarding cooperation to block the withdrawal of Great Britain from the European Union without a deal, which is being considered by Boris Johnson. The pact assumes cooperation on draft laws that, if adopted, could force the government to change its approach in negotiations with Brussels.

In this way, the opposition wants to stop the Johnson administration from leaving the EU without a contract, which, according to a significant number of experts, would lead to a serious disruption to the functioning of the British economy, including due to short-term difficulties in accessing fresh food products, medicines or car parts imported from the continent.

Adopting a model based on joint bills, rather than attempting to bring down the Conservative Party's government, avoids arguments about who would become the new prime minister. Details of the planned solution have not been presented yet. The parties that joined the agreement do not have a majority in the House of Commons but will count on convincing a group of about 25 pro-European Conservative Party MPs who have worked in the past with the opposition to stop unregulated Brexit.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson talked with the head of the European Commission. There would be no Brexit agreement if the backstop entry on the Irish border was not removed  The British Prime Minister's office also reported that Johnson had assured that Great Britain would never place infrastructure or border or control points on the border between Northern Ireland and Ireland.

As a result of continuous uncertainty and the no deal Brexit being on the table more than ever the Sterling is heading down and continues to do so even more then during the previous government. With less than 70 days remaining until October  it is unclear who exactly the Kingdom should talk. He added that in post-referendum times the Islands were arguing whether it would be mild or so hard Brexit. - Exit without any deal was not taken into account at all Now this scenario seems to be more real than all others. And it is this weave of extremely pessimistic expectations that beats sterling the most.
